DESCRIPTION

SOL Sorbitan monolaurate is produced by the esterification of Sorbitol with commercial coconut fatty acid.

  • Color & Appearance: Yellow to Amber Viscous Oily Liquid
  • Acid Value: Max. 8 mgKOH/g
  • Saponification Value: 158-175 mgKOH/g
  • Hydroxyl Value: 330-360 mgKOH/g
  • Moisture Content: Max. 1%
  • Viscosity at 25 degrees Celsius: 3500-5000 cps

HEAVY METALS

  • Heavy Metals (As Pb): Max. 10g/kg
  • Arsenic: Max. 3mg/kg
  • Mercury: Max. 1mg/kg
  • Cadmium: Max. 1mg/kg

SORBITAN MONOLAURATE APPLICATIONS

Used in pigments, wetting agents for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and others.

STORAGE / SHELF LIFE

Store in a cool and dry place, 25 to 30 degrees Celsius. 24 Months from the date of manufacturing.
